          6. She was born on November 15, 1983, in Paris, France. Laura is the daughter of French actress Nathalie Baye and French singer Johnny Hallyday. Her parents divorced three years after her birth, and she was brought up by her mother.

          At the age of 16, Laura Smet decided to pursue a career in acting and attended acting classes under the guidance of Raymond Aquaviva.

          In the summer of 2002, she had the opportunity to participate in a creative workshop for aspiring filmmakers, where she had the chance to work alongside Christine Scott Thomas in a film project.

          Laura Smet received her first role from director Xavier Giannoli.
