Wägayyähu Négatu (b. June 1944, Addis Abäba, d. December 1989) was a popular Ethiopian
theatre actor. He was the only child of ato Négatu Bézunäh and Amsale Bäyyänä. He first attended the Swedish Evangelical Mission (Evangeliska Fosterlands Stiftelsen) School and completed his secondary education at the Täfäri Mäkwännén School.
