          Shpend Ali Ahmeti (lindi më 18 prill ) është një politikan kosovar që ka shërbyer si kryetar i Prishtinës. Ai ishte kryetari i Partisë Fryma e Re, e cila u shkri në Vetëvendosje në vitin dhe shërbeu si nënkryetar i tyre.

          Megjithatë, pas mosmarrëveshjeve të brendshme ai u largua nga partia në vitin për t'u bërë kryetar i Partisë Socialdemokrate të Kosovës.[1] Në vitin ai u bë një politikan i pavarur.[2]

          Ahmeti morri pjesë në zgjedhjet e 3 nëntorit për kryetar të Prishtinës, ku në raundin e parë të zgjedhjeve, Ahmeti ishte rreth vota prapa Isa Mustafës, por në raundin e dytë më 1 dhjetor ai fitoi me rreth vota.

          Mustafa akuzoi Ahmetin për mashtrim.[3] Fitorja e Ahmetit u konfirmua më pas duke i dhënë fund mandatit 15 vjeçar të LDK-së në kryeqytetin e Kosovës.

          Në tetor ai kandidoi sërish për zgjedhjet lokale si kandidat i Vetëvendosjes dhe me sukses arriti të mbajë postin e tij si kryetar i Prishtinës.
