          Biography

          Bill Robinson is president emeritus of Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. He served as Whitworth's 17th president, from 1993 to 2010, after serving as president of Manchester University, in Indiana, from 1986 to 1993.

          Currently, Bill's work-life consists of speaking, consulting and writing.

          Recently, he served on the boards of the Stewardship Foundation, the Voya Educators Advisory Board, and Princeton Theological Seminary, where he was board chair from 2013 to 2017.

          The stories in this issue of Whitworth Today highlight current students and graduates who dined at, and were shaped by, this “becoming” sort of place.

          In 2010, a second edition of Robinson's book Leading People from the Middle: The Universal Mission of Mind and Heart was released. In February 2009, Incarnate Leadership was published by Zondervan (Harper Collins).

          Bill is married to Bonnie Robinson, principal organist at the First Presbyterian Church of Spokane.
