          Ferruccio Busoni (April 1, 1866 – July 27, 1924) was an Italiancomposer, piano virtuoso, music teacher, author, and conductor.

          His broad grasp of music combined the Italian and German musical backgrounds of his parents, and he used this heritage to produce many genres of music as well as a book which greatly influenced the later field of electronic music.
