Linda Lou Mays, age 82 of Oxford passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 1, 2023 at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage.  Linda was born in Amherst to Martin and Laura (Johnson) Gollnick on February 5, 1941.  She graduated from Westfield High School in 1959 and married Thomas Ingram.  They moved to the east coast while he was in the Navy; together they had five children and later divorced.  Linda married Richard “Dick” Mays on October 13, 1967 in Westfield; together they had one daughter and he preceded her in death on June 24, 2010.

Linda worked for many years at Divine Savior Hospital as well as NAPA.  She was a member of St.

John’s Lutheran Church in Oxford and a fixture at Frannie May’s.  Linda enjoyed farming with Dick, going to yard sales and always looked forward to Christmas with her family.  She forever had a special place in her heart for her canine companion, Tuffy.
